“Contretemps / Night is Day” is a logbook, a chronology which begins a few days before the uprising in Lebanon in October 2019, takes shape with it, accompanies it, runs out of breath with the pandemic, tries to escape to the mountains, collides with loss, until Autumn of 2023 and the horror which unfolds in Gaza. A "witness” both intimately and collectively, till the end.

فيلم "النهار هو الليل" هو بمثابة مدوّنة لسجلّ من الأحداث، يبدأ قبل أيامٍ من انتفاضة أكتوبر ٢٠١٩ في لبنان، يتشكّل معها ويرافقها، يفقد زخمه مع حلول الجائحة، يحاول الهروب نحو الجبل، يصطدم الخسارات المتتالية، حتى يصل إلى خريف ٢٠٢٣ والمجازر في غزة. يبقى الفيلم "شاهداً" على نحو حميميّ وجماعيّ في آنٍ معاً حتى النهاية.
