Lebanon, summer 1958. Three sisters from a feudal Christian family are vactionning in the Lebanese moutains. The quiet life of the village is shaken by the echoes of a revolution rumbling in Beirut and by the arrival of two French tourists. But it is from within the family that the upheaval comes. The eldest sister, Layla a perfect mother and wife, will open her eyes to the patriarchal society that keeps them under control. In young Lebanon, which dreams of a golden age can a woman have a destiny other than the one traced by men? 

لبنان، صيف 1958. ثلاث شقيقات من علّية القوم في المجتمع المسيحي، يمضين إجازتهنّ في الجبل اللبناني. إلا أنّ أخبار الثورة المندلعة في بيروت ومجيء اثنين من المصطافين، سيعكّران صفو القرية. الثورة هنا ستندلع من داخل العائلة. الأخت البكر ليلى، الأم والزوجة المثالية، ستفتح عينيها على المجتمع البطريركي الذي يضعهن تحت هيمنته. في لبنان الفتيّ، الحالم بالعصر الذهبي، هل يمكن لامرأة أن تصنع قدراً مختلفاً عن ذاك الذي يخطّه لها الرجال؟
