We are thrilled to invite you to the First Edition of the Italian Film Festival in Lebanon, an extraordinary celebration of Italian artistry and cinematic excellence. Organized by the Embassy of Italy in Lebanon, the Italian Cultural Institute of Beirut, and Metropolis Cinema, this event promises an unforgettable journey into the heart of Italian culture and creativity.

Event Highlights:

·         Opening Night Premiere, 08:00 pm: The festival will commence with the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) premiere of Vermiglio, an evocative film that sets the tone for this unique cinematic experience. Cocktail at 07:00 pm.

·         Festival Dates: Mark your calendars from January 24th to February 2nd, 2025, and join us for a series of remarkable screenings and cultural moments.

·         Closing Night Spectacle: Witness the festival’s grand finale with È Piccerella, a silent film brought to life with an original electronic score composed specifically for this event. The world premiere of this score will be performed live by the composer, Maurilio Cacciatore, adding an innovative dimension to this timeless classic.
