Metropolis Cinema, in partnership with the Italian Embassy to Lebanon and the Italian Cultural Institute in Beirut and the Delegation of The European Union to Lebanon, presents a cycle dedicated to Monica Vitti, one of the most singular and captivating presences in Italian cinema, through four restored masterpieces directed by Michelangelo Antonioni.

Working with What Is There gathers contributors to present alternative approaches to cinema history informed by non-film sources. It invites to think and create with films as mutable objects of circulation between people, across generations and media, irrespective of their material survival as film copies.
