At a time when war inevitably shapes the way we look at the world, this edition refuses to reduce our reality to a single story.

Our selection brings together films from across geographies, histories and artistic practices. Some look directly at war and its aftermath. Others turn their gaze elsewhere, towards memory, intimacy, landscapes, bodies, archives, encounters and the countless forms of life that continue alongside it.

Because documenting reality also means making room for everything that exists beyond the immediate crisis. For the contradictions, complexities and details that make our experience more than one defining event.

This year, we gather once again at Metropolis Cinema around films that look, question, remember, resist and imagine, reminding us that cinema can hold many truths at once.
