In 2026, following the first ceasefire, Mohammad’s family leaves the place where they had been displaced and moves to Baalbek, as Beirut’s southern suburbs remain unsafe amid continued Israeli threats and violations of the ceasefire. Mohammad, however, stays behind in Beirut for work and university. As he navigates the uncertainty of living alone in a city that no longer feels like home, he begins to question not only where he belongs, but also his identity as a Muslim Shia in Lebanon. Between displacement, fear, and a growing sense of alienation, Mohammad searches for a sense of belonging in a country where home is no longer something he can take for granted.

في عام ٢٠٢٦ وبعد وقف إطلاق النار الأول، تغادر عائلة محمد المكان الذي نزحت إليه وتتجه إلى بعلبك، بعدما بقيت ضاحية بيروت الجنوبية غير آمنة في ظل استمرار التهديدات الإسرائيلية وخرق وقف إطلاق النار. أمّا محمد، فيبقى في بيروت بسبب عمله ودراسته الجامعية. ومع ازدياد المسافة بينه وبين عائلته، يجد محمد نفسه وحيدًا في مدينة لم تعد تشبه المكان الذي اعتاد أن يسمّيه بيتًا. وبين الخوف والنزوح والشعور المتزايد بالغربة، يبدأ بالتساؤل ليس فقط عن المكان الذي ينتمي إليه، بل أيضًا عن هويته كمسلم شيعي في لبنان، وعن معنى أن يكون للإنسان وطن وبيت في بلد لم يعد فيه أيّ منهما أمرًا مسلّمًا به.
