Ghazze is a town in the heart of the Bekaa valley, housing roughly 10.000 Lebanese inhabitants and between 15.000 and 20.000 Syrian refugees. The relationships between the Lebanese and the Syrian communities are strained. Nowhere is this more visible than in the large, central park in town; the only large public space in Ghazze.  

Ghazze est une ville située au cœur de la vallée de la Bekaa, où vivent environ 10 000 citoyens Libanais et entre 15 000 et 20 000 réfugiés syriens. Les relations entre les communautés libanaise et syrienne sont tendues. Cela n’est nulle part plus visible que dans le grand parc central de la ville; le seul grand espace public de Ghazze.

غزة هي مدينة تقع في قلب وادي البقاع، حيث يسكنها ما يقرب من ١٠٫٠٠٠ شخص لبناني وما بين ١٥٠٠٠ و ٢٠٫٠٠٠ لاجئ سوري. العلاقات بين المجتمعين اللبناني والسوري متوترة. المخيم المركزي في المدينة هو أكثر مكان يتضح فيه هذا التوتر الإجتماعي؛ وهو المساحة العامة الكبيرة الوحيدة في غزة.
