A two-voice and a two-gaze exploration of contemporary Lebanon by a filmmaker and his painter wife who try to capture through their art the great beauty and the deep soul of this generous country which, since a major political and economic crisis has brought it to the brink of total collapse, can no longer feed all its inhabitants nor prevent them from choosing exile.

يعكس هذا العمل صورة لبنان المعاصر بصوت وعدسة أحد صناع الأفلام وزوجته التي تمتهن الرسم. يحاول الإثنان، من خلال الفنّ، نقل صورة لبنان السخي بجماله الفائق وروحه العميقة. ذلك البلد الذي أثقلت كاهله أزمة سياسية واقتصادية غير مسبوقة، ووضعته على شفا الانهيار التام، فما عاد قادرًا لا على تأمين مقومات الحياة لسكانه ولا على أن يثنيهم عن اختيار المنفى الطوعي.
