Resilience Overflow is a multifold project based on the construction of a genetically modified bacterial strain in collaboration with the molecular environmental microbiology laboratory at the national center of biotechnology in Madrid. The bacterium, isolated from the artist's gut, is genetically engineered to incorporate and produce the Human Neuropeptide Y, a gene linked to human resilience, and becomes a microscopie drug-producing factory. The project speculates on releasing the strain into the Beirut water system, thus questioning resilience as a political pretext and looking at the role of the individual in the absence of the state as well as possible modes of alliances between the human and the microbiological world.

فائض الرزيلينس هو مشروع متعدد الجوانب يعتمد على بناء سلالة بكتيرية معدلة وراثيا بالتعاون مع مختبر الأحياء الدقيقة البيئية الجزيئية في المركز الوطني للتكنولوجيا الحيوية في مدريد. بعد عزلها من أمعاء الفنانة، يتم تصميم البكتيريا وراثيًا لدمج وإنتاج Human Neuropeptide Y، وهو الجين المرتبط بالمرونة البشرية. فتصبح البكتيريا مصنعًا لإنتاج الأدوية المجهرية. ويتكهن المشروع بإطلاق السلالة البكتيرية في شبكة المياه في بيروت، وبالتالي التشكيك في المرونة كذريعة سياسية والنظر في دور الفرد في غياب الدولة وكذلك الأنماط المحتملة للتحالفات بين العالم البشري والعالم الميكروبيولوجي.
