After the sudden death of her husband, Nawal is struggling to cope with the upheaval in her life. However, her pain is soon compounded by the possibility of losing her home to her brother-in-law. تدخل نوال في حالة حداد بعد صدمة وفاة زوجها المفاجئة التي تزعزع استقرار عائلتها المكونة منها هي وابنتها الصغيرة، ولكنها تضطر لإخفاء شعورها بالألم عندما تتيقن أن زوجها المتوفي لم يحفظ حقها في شراء المنزل وهذا سيجعلها تخسر منزلها الذي ورثته عن زوجها لصالح شقيقه. تلجأ نوال للحيلة، فتدّعي انها حامل، ولكن تزداد الكذبة صعوبة بمرور الوقت وتجد نفسها أمام خيارات صعبة، وعليها ٔان تجد حًلا خلال ثلاثة ٔاسابيع، فتنطلق الأرملة الشابة في رحلة محفوفة بالتحديات لمخاوفها ومعتقداتها وأخلاقها، وتقاتل لتأمين منزل لها ولابنتها.
